Salam alaikum, I was wondering about Qame. Is it mandatory? I believe people show their grief in various ways, and they are free to do so in any way they please, but isn't that considered as inflicting harm on oneself? What does Islam say about it?
Oh and about that Friday prayer to be led by this woman, have people lost their minds or what? I thought she's a professor going to give some sort of speech, but then I was told she wanted to lead the friday prayers! Did it actually take place? And haven't people objected? What has the world come to...
